The author

My name is Lamine DIABY. I was born in Paris, grew up there, and started following PSG in 1993, when I was eleven. The first team I loved was the one with Ginola, Valdo and Weah, then the Luis Fernandez years, the 1996 Cup Winners' Cup, the French Cup runs and the European nights at the Parc.

To me, PSG has never been only a team built by stars. It is also a Parisian club, popular, sometimes excessive, often mocked, but deeply tied to a city and a region.

The QSI era, and the falls

Since the QSI takeover, I watched players I admired walk in. Zlatan, Beckham, Di Maria, Messi, Neymar. And with them, the disappointments we all know: Barcelona 2017, Manchester United 2019, Bayern in Lisbon 2020, Benzema's Real in 2022, Dortmund in the 2024 semi-final. Every spring, the same ritual. Hope, then the fall.

Why this site

This 2025 team will remain one of the greatest moments of my life as a supporter. First because of the trophies: a six-title cycle that places Paris in very rare company, alongside Barcelona 2009 and Bayern 2020.

But what moved me most was the way they did it. A more collective, more intense, younger team, able to press together, suffer together and win without being reduced to a single name.

Luis Enrique gave this group a shape, and that shape ended up saying something larger than a simple addition of talent. That is what I wanted to pass on.

I wanted to pay tribute with what I know how to do: write, design and build a web experience. My own way of being in the stands.

What you will find

A seven-act narrative, from the doubt of August 2024 to the sextuple. Player pages focused on what each one actually brought to the season. Long-form tactical analysis. A retro game inspired by Captain Tsubasa, currently in development. And supporter testimonials in the "Ici c'est Paris" section.

How it is made

Built solo, in Astro and Tailwind, deployed on Vercel. The game runs on Phaser. Player illustrations are by Gülay Dundar, an illustrator whose work I admire.

For sources, I rely on API-Football, UEFA, the LFP and the specialist press. When something is not verifiable, I say so rather than make it up. I am not an accredited journalist, I carry no press badge. Everything written here speaks for me alone.
