The Immortals

One month after the Club World Cup final, the legs are heavy and pre-season has been non-existent. But there is a trophy to be won. On August 13, 2025, at the Stadio Friuli in Udine, PSG face Tottenham, the Europa League winners, for the UEFA Super Cup.

0-2, the 48th minute. The match looks gone, but this team has never folded that easily. Lee Kang-in pulls one back in the 85th with a clean strike. Then Gonçalo Ramos, with a header, snatches the equalizer at 90+4. In the shootout, PSG win 4-3 and walk away with the Super Cup.

December 2025

On December 17, 2025, in Al Rayyan, Qatar, PSG face Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup final. 1-1 after extra time, and in the shootout, one man stands tall.

The third team in history to achieve the Sextuple, after Barcelona 2009 and Bayern Munich 2020.

I'd rather have four players who score 12 goals each than one who scores 40.

2025-26 Season

And to complete the picture, PSG travel to Montjuic without Dembélé (the reigning Ballon d'Or, sidelined with a hamstring injury), without Marquinhos, Doué or Kvaratskhelia. Luis Enrique fields Mbaye, Mayulu and Barcola up front, a side decimated by injuries playing in Catalan stands where the Parisian travelling support drown out the home crowd. In Catalonia, some still believe Yamal deserved the Ballon d'Or. Paris answer on the pitch: 2-1, win.

I absolutely didn't like what he was doing at first. But then I realized he completely changed: his communication, his management style, everything.
