Since 2011, PSG had tried everything: stars, records, springtime promises. The Parc had watched Ibrahimović, Neymar, Messi and Mbappé pass through, yet the same question returned every year: why did Paris collapse when Europe closed in? 2017, the Remontada. 2019, Manchester United and Rashford's penalty. 2020, Coman breaking the dream in the final. 2022, Benzema turning everything around in seventeen minutes. Over time, doubt stopped being purely sporting. It became collective memory.

In the end, there was not much left to prove. The opponents had fallen, the numbers had followed, the trophies had piled up. But the essential thing was not only there. Un moment gravé dans ma mémoire à tout jamais.
